Click here to view the embedded video.

One of the flawless*Centropyge narcosis*that was collected by Rufus Kimura and his team in Tahiti has gone to BlueHarbor, and the footage above shows a perfectly healthy, conditioned C. narcosis feeding in captivity. Although C. narcosis has entered the Japanese trade many years ago, this is probably one of the first videos ever of C. narcosis in captivity, let alone one that’s feeding.*

The beautiful specimen above seems to have settled in very nicely and has begun feeding with gusto on frozen mysis shrimp. Making a cameo appearance in this video is the super rare pair of*Cirrhilabrus claire, as well as the Tahitian Mystery Wrasse.*All the deepwater fish seem to be in excellent form and health – a testament to Rufus Kimura and his team’s skill in deepwater fish collection, as well as the extraordinary standard of care given by BlueHarbor.

We’ve been told that the C. narcosis has been retailed at a hefty sum of USD 20,000. While the little fish costs an arm and a leg, the video above of it is free for viewing and it certainly is magnificent. Enjoy this flaw-free footage of C. narcosis as it stuffs itself full with delicious frozen shrimp.

Marine Aquariums of South Africa: Auto Feeding - Brine Shrimp

So I got myself a really cool Aquamedic (thanks Adriaan) brine shrimp hatchery. Got some plankton to feed the Brine and "fatten them up" with some nice food for the fish.

As we all know brine have little or no nutrition for fish kind of like candy for the little guys :)

So now those who know me know I love to automate everything, even my coffee machine is automated - no joke....

I was thinking how do I get @Paul B and @belindamotion the brine from their hatchery into the tank.

I was thinking of attaching a small power head to the outlet with a salt water solenoid valve but then the powerhead would destroy the Brine, then was thinking how do I get them into a contraption like @Paul B and @belindamotion...
Any ideas on how to get this nice and automated :) - Just to get the creative juices flowing....

	Hi Guys,
after much research and hard work! finally decided to order CREE LEDs from RapidLed,
I though in order to save me and you guys some money on shipping and taxes i open this thread for group ordering for guys in cape town, and also other cities if interested.
I'm also trying to see if mike is giving us a better rate, if we can increase the volume,
So if anyone is interested, write down what you want to order, and i'll send all the requests to him to see what offer he can give us,
And payments for the products have to be made in full to me before ordering, and once i received all the stock and paid for the shipping and taxes i'll divide the cost between all, and for other cities additional shipping will be charged.
You can also make the payment to Rapidled site and tell mike that it should come with Hadiosbourne's shipping.
I'm planning to order by end of june/ Beginning of july if i get sufficient requests to worthwhile ordering, you can save atleast R600-R700. So, through your lists!:yeahdude:
Here is the website:

Now I know first thought target feed and use a cover but the RTBA's have found impossible spots in the rocks to sit. So I can't put something over it.

Right now I am keeping my hands in the tank for about 30mins to allow the nenny to take the fish.

The Elos Aquastudio New York is now open to the public. The Aquastudio concept has largely been a European affair with all of the stores operating in Europe. The New York Elos Aquastudio is the first such store in the United States with more stores that are planned across the world. However, Elos is scheduled to open four more stores this year in Nice, France; Beijing, China; Singapore, and in Switzerland. The New York AquaStudio is located at 533 Millburn Ave Short Hills, NJ 07078 USA. We have additional images of the New York store below the break.

Marine Aquariums of South Africa: RSS TMC AquaHabitat Spy Lens comes in two sizes to magnify your aquarium life

The TMC AquaHabitat Spy Lens is a simple glass-mounted magnifying glass for getting a good close up look of your aquarium. The brand spankin new Spy Lens is convex on both sides providing a good monoscopic view inside the tank, and a screw-activated suction cup-mount holds the lens on to the glass so hard that we were unable to pull it off with a good deal of pressure.

Coming in two sizes, the TMC AquaHabitat Spy Lens is available in a 70mm diameter lens with a 6X magnification and a 90mm lens with a 2.5X magnification. The packaging shown above is only for display here at InterZoo 2012 and when it is delivered the AquaHabitat Spy Glass will be wrapped in a much nicer retail box; pricing is still to be determined, and the image below shows a quick snapshot haphazardly made made with an iPhone 4.

The Comline Wavebox 6208 from Tunze is so brand new its final iteration was finished just in time for the InterZoo 2012 show. Tunze’s Comline Wavebox uses the same molded box as the new line of smaller, sleeker Comline products so it will match and look good sitting right next to the new Comline Filter and the Tunze 9004 Nano Skimmer. Recessed magnets in the back make the Tunze Comline Wavebox 6208 sit even more closely to the back glass, helping to make Tunze’s new wavemaker even less obtrusive in the*aquarium. Stay tuned for more details of pricing and availability.*

So I am having a slight problem with bryopsis and I wonder if part of the problem is maybe the detritus buildup in my sump... There isn't much buildup but I am wondering how often I should siphon out the detritus? I was thinking of completely siphoning off all the water in the sump while stirring up the water. I will also remove the rock and rinse it off before replacing. I'm just worried i remove too much of my pod population; what do you guys think?

Thanks in advance:biggrin:
