Algae problem

hey everyone. i just recently moved my aquarium tank and after the first couple of weeks hairy green algae has covered everything. so i checked phosphate n there isnt any, no nitrate, nitrite n 0.01 ammonia.. no idea wat to do???? please help.

Giant Clam & Cleaner Shrimps

I acquired a giant calm today. Really nice species.

Acclimatised over 5 hours.

I noticed tonight that my cleaner shrimps are all over the clam. Looks like they are picking away at the clam.

Is this something to be concerned about ?
Overflow into sump

Hi there,
Well after using various other filters I have decided to build a sump for my tank. I would like the water leading to the sump to overflow in some way, and not have to be pumped into the sump. The glass is about 9mm thick, and I have no idea if there is a way to cut the glass near the top so as to add a groove for water to overflow. If there is a way or some other option, I would really like to know, or is this suicide on an existing tank?

Got some cool zoo's growing on a huge bulbous frag plug. Looks terrible in my nano. Is there any way to safely remove them so I can glue 'em to my liverock??

Or do I just get a sharp knife and scrape 'em off?

Hi guys, can you please give some tips regarding caring for Zoa's?
Like - feeding them, lights required, and what possible predators one must be on the lookout for.
For example i've noted that i have some bristle worms in the tank - should i be wary of these?
Sea slug got stuck in pump...

Hi guys,
My yellow sea slug got stuck in one of my powerheads grills....
I've tried to remove it without using any force, but no luck on that...
I'm not sure if it's still alive - I sure hope so...
I've switched of the pump, and lights - hopefully he will be able to get himself out of this mess (if he is still alive).

Any ideas - should i leave him there, or must i try to get him out?

Hey guys,woke up this morning and found my tank to be completley white.
my float switch got jamed and chucked about 30l of RO in via my kalk stirrer.
PH sitting at 9.30.havent tested Ca and alk as yet.
busy doing water changes at the moment,really worried :(
