  moving sand off corals help needed

  Hi all
  
  I have that sugar fine sand which I will never buy again & it gets on my clams & Corals
  
  I am currently taking the tongs & flapping them around to get the sand off.
  
  my circulations pumps are 2 strong & create a sand storm.
  
  What would be the easiest way to get the sand off some of the corals? I was thinking or using a little 200Lt/H pump connected to some pvc piping
