Hi Guys
Ok so setup a 46cmL x 45cmH x 40cmW aquarium
Made a in DT sump about 46cmL x 45cmH x 10cmW
First compartment a hang on Skimmer then DSB and return with a 750L/H pump
Substrate is 1x 9kg Arag-Alive sand olite
Then fitted the top side with perspex and a normal plastic canopy, had a strip of LED's that I fitted about 30cm long
Then some LR that was in another tank full of GHA
In the first week the GHA disappear and a lot of pods and bristles
So I added another 30cm LED strip and 1x 30cm Blue LED strip
add some needle algae and red algae and 2 hermits
this tank is running about 2 months now.
Ordered a shroom to test and planing to add 2x 30cm LED strips as well
To be honest there is no sand in the DSB yet:razz:
Still thinking what to put in, my 9kg Arg-alive black or sea sand
but any way just trying to test the LED's
Will upload pics tonight
Oh and since I started it I didn't top up with RO yet due to the perspex
