okay, so we have moved and finally settled in to our new place........so i decided to get the builders back in and finally start a large tank again.
it will be a in wall picture frame like tank with access from behind and sides for maintanance etc etc
i was inspired by a thread posted by viper that featured this tank

so here are the dimensions
length..............1500mm
width..................650mm
height..................650mm
sump..................1000mm x 500mm x 500mm
the tank will be made in 12mm starfire glass which has been orderd and should be delivered soon.
lighting:
reefinmates is designing a 10 x 54 watt t5 pendant with dali electronic dimmable ballasts, with a profilux led lightning stick intergrated that will run of a profilux 3 ex.
t5 tubes will be giesemann
3 x 54 watt aquablue + (white)
3 x actinic + (blue)
2 x aqua-pink
2 x pure actinic (purple)
flow: tunze overflow with tunze eco drive return pump,
internal flow.......just got it yesterday....2 x tunze 6105 streams with 7095 multi controller and tunze wave box.
skimmer: was thinking of importing the bubble king, or was close to ordering the new reefoctopus extrenal cone with automated cleaning cup, but was made a great deal by tunze, so am installing the new external master doc (page 6)

tank will be run on NP pellets and zeo, in reactors, and a dual chamber tunze mechanical filter.
also will be installing either a profilux 4-way dosing pump or a new dosing pump designed by a good friend.
kalkstirrer: awaiting the arrival of the new reefoctopus' kalk stirrer
ph, temp and auto top up will be run on the profilux 3 ex and top up water supplied with
the waterboy reefmaster evolution r.o.unit.
substrate: undecided......either the indo-pacific mix or fiji pink from carribsea, mixed with a few kilo's of live sand
