Hi
Dad had a goldfish tank, hated the green water!!!
One Yard Two Houses. The garage became his living room and kitchen a year ago.
Started 2 months back building new additions to it and we decided to build a tank in the wall with 2 viewable sides, one in BBQ room that doesn't even have a braai in, is completed and one side from the garage where the maintenance will be done. Still a lot to do and to complete the new additions.
Here goes:P
DT
Size, 105cmLx61cmHx73cmW (61 is the water level)
Build with 10mm glass
Bottom plate with braces
and top with rim
Total volume 446L
Bought the MH unit 150W 20,000K and 2 39W 10,000K T5's with moon lights
Unit is 90cm long
Ordered 14,000K 150W bulb and 2x T5 blue's to change the bulbs (wrong or right:wave2:)
Currently the unit is on top of the holding tank about 10cm from water level. tank is 60cm high water level about 50cm
First problem or not but it seems so to me is the light is not enough for me, I think 6 T5's will give more light than the MH unit, not sure (advice please :wave2:)
Then the tank is 73cm wide and loose about 24cm on the front side with the wall above it and light unit will be behind the wall, think there will not be enough light in front (help needed:wave2:)
There is going to be a feeding pipe in the frame work under the wall to feed fish and I can not install a T5 light there.
Then I wanted to take pics but camera battery is flat, charging as I write this, so pictures will be up loaded shortly:P
Please guys if you see (:wave2:) help me on that.
Thanks
