Hi everyone
I am planning on starting a FOWLR tank from scratch sometime in December.
This will be my first attempt at keeping a saltwater aquarium although I have had a good few years experience in keeping freshwater fish.
I have already done a fair amount of research on marine aquariums and im trying to learn enough so that I'm not completely clueless when I start.
Just wondering if anyone could give me a list of all the equipment I would need.
I've searched variuous websites but they do not usually give a good description of what is necessary vs. what is optional or what exactly each piece of equipment does.
I'm looking at getting a 200 litre - 300 litre tank. I'm not opposed to getting any equipment second hand provided that it is in good condition or unless anyone feels there are certain items that should be bought new.
Of course my budget is also a factor, I'll be looking to spend about R4000 on the tank and all equipment excluding live rock etc (please let that be possible!)
Any help will be greatly appreciated! :)
