I'm looking for seagrass & caulerpa please?

I'm looking for several algal plant/tree species please?

Feather Caulerpa
C. crassifolia
or C. mexicana

Grape Caulerpa
C. Racemosa

Flat Blade Variety
C. prolifera

I'm also looking for seagrass Zostera marina (eelgrass) or any other short seagrass species.

The seagrass & caulerpa will be used in my seahorse tanks & the mangrove would be used iether in the sump or in the main tanks

If possible Dwarf Red Mangrove (Rhizophora Mangle) I'd like to do an experiment by using the mangrove in a filter system.

I'm willing to pay for any of these marine plants.

iv had a freshwater tank for about 10 years but now iv started a saltwater tank about 2 months ago got a few mullets in there to get the nitrogen cycle going. iv heard that there are a few good spots in pe to dive fish. i spoke to a guy on sunday at the swartkops river and he said you get a few species there was wondering if someone on this forum been diving there and what fish can i get there thanks wesley:thumbup:

This is kinda major!!!
My tank connectors are leaking and the tank is alredy filled, the only way to get my hand back there is to empty the entire tank out!

i can just manage to get the silicone gun to the spot tho. . .

Is it enough to just dry the are properly then plaster as much silicone around it as possible or what can i do???!

Good day guys

We are struggling to get a high resolution picture for our dome.

The space for advertising on the dome is 18m x 3.6m

IF you can help us with a picture that is 3mb or larger with very good quality we are going to use your picture for the dome ...with your permition

So if you want the whole centurion to see your pic...please post a smaller version of the picture here and we will vote.

The person will also receive a R500 voucher to spend at our shop...for your help.

I have been running my RSM 130D tank now for around 5 months. After some really weird readings from my hydrometer I decided that it was time to look for a refactometer. After looking around and calling the sponsors I found that it would cost around R900. I thought about it and started to search the net and I found a refractometer, with shipping and handeling/import duties set me back R250 TOTAL and two and a half weeks of waiting... how can it cost 4 times the amount for the same thing in this country!?!... well I just thought that I'd share my experience with you guys out there.

Hi everyone, started with marines 8 months ago, discovered marineaquariumsa and can really learn from other marine aquarists. Ive got a 300l display tank with a 100l sump. My filtration method is a protein skimmer and deep sand bed in the sump and some live rock in the display tank. I started with some local cold water fish but changed to a warm water tropical setup a month ago.

Thought i should share:

So i thought i never had WS in the tank. BEEEG mistake. There was no visible Ws in the tank until last night. Tuesday night we experienced a Black out, power came back after 2 hours but the skimmer overflowed when the power came back as its insump. Skimate went into the tank not much. This triggered the White spot. Yesterday i come home and see the regal and flame in white spot not terrible but enough to make me uncomfortable. Now its an irritation to me and i want to get the fish treated but i have no QT tank or the space for one at the moment so i need to wait to get a QT and set it up and QT the fish to clear the WS. This means taking out ALL the rocks in the tank to get the fish out as i do not want to live with white spot in this tank. Lucky i do not have any corals in the tank at the moment so its not an issue.

Please please please if you intend on keeping a reef and not a FO tank please ensure that you have a QT or access to one and QT ALL fish regardless of where they come from. This will save you lotsa heartache and stress in the future as this hobby is supposed to relax you and not stress you
