Urgent help needed Lion fish (Pterois antennata) feeding

I've got a antenna lion that blatently refuses to eat any frozen meat. I have tried different sizes of lance fish, krill, different white fish. I have taken a whole lance fish on the end of a red straw and simulate a swimming fish. I have hide the straw behing a red gorgoinian, hide the straw behind live rock try the same during daytime and night time. I have put the fish on my live rock. It will take the pods that is coming for the frozen fish. I got a fire cracker, he steals the food and then the lion just watch him. Obvious do I feed the fire cracker now first. I treid for minutes up to 30 min.
I have dropped pieces of fish in front of him, put it close to mouth, I even chased him around in the tank with the fish to see if he tries to defend himself. We are now sitting on 4 weeks without proper food.
I stay in Standerton and my nearest Marine LFS is about 140km away. Should I start breeding my own fish to keep feeding live food and if so what fish? -

livestock that will love algae

Hi guys, need a bit of advise please.
My tank has been cycling for about 13 weeks now. I got a little pincusion and some zoas from a friend so that is going nicely. no fish yet, some hermits and snails
I have 2 x 54w on for about 10-12 hours daily. some days they will be off because of the problem.
I am getting a lot of green algue on the rock, glass and brown algue on the aragonite.
What fish will be suited to help with the algae on the rocks etc. i know i will get on the glass

Hi guys...
I need your thoughts and input on this please...
Due to my very heavy feeding requirements, I am opting to "cut" off flow throughout the tank (return pump switched off) at the time I am feeding.
Now you must take into consideration that I will be feeding from about 16h00 right throught to about 07h00 am.
Now in this time, the tank will only have it's circulation pumps on, but my concern is oxygen levels. The fish will all be "sleeping" mostly in this timeframe, but they still use up oxygen.
The refuge and DSB should be fine, as it has cheato that produces oxygen, but should I be concerned about oxygen in the DT?
Should I maybe **hate saying this as it is a dreaded subject** add an airstone to the tank???
Maybe get a little scuba diver on an airline...:P **joke...

Guys
what makes the "cone" a better design than any conventional skimmer design?
my understanding is that there is less resistance for the dirt to be pushed up to the collection cup?
please list the advantages and disadvantages of using it over the normal ones.
im interested in seeing what thoughts we get from this discussion.
