Does anyone know if Dory pets still exists, and if so is Lanzo still the ons to contact. It seems they ignoring me :(
Their website seems to be inactive as well.

Hi guys.

I saw a thread or two with the same issue but couldn't find anything now. And can't remember what the verdict was.
Planning my next tank but got a bit of a problem.
Want to put my chiller outside (not next to my bed again) but the distance to the tank would be 5-7m.
The plumbing will be able run virtually level.
Can this be done ?

Tank: 1200mm (l) x 500mm (h) x 450mm (w) (+/-270 litres). The tank has nice, rounded corners and comes with the following:
- A canopy including 3 x 30w T8 tubes;
- Corner to corner slimline overflow (done by Idol Marine); :thumbup:
- Plumbing (overflow and return);
- Brand new 3 compartment sump (from Dorry Pets): 900mm (l) x 450mm (h) x 350mm (w); 8mm bottom glass ;)
- Cabinet. The cabinet has a little water damage because my previous sump cracked and therefore I suggest that the wheels on the cabinet be taken off so that the cabinet is fully supported (the cabinet has 6 aftermarket wheels); also the bracket on the one door needs to be screwed on properly; :whistling:
- Black PVC/perspex? type removable back-cover; ;)

Asking price: R3,000.00

Hey guys
just thought i would share went to chop's place tonight to get some frags and while i was there i thought i would take some snaps and a vid of the mans tank
all i can say is photos dont do it justice it needs to be seen in the flesh
tank is totally awsome and chops dude you need to start a thread anyway here are some photos will upload vid in a bit

and last but not least the FTS
just my luck as i took thr FTS one of the halides turned off as tank was getting ready for bed
dude well done on an awsome tank livestock is huge and corals are growing over each other your tank :yeahdude:

Question regarding GFO

My phosphate reactor started leaking 2 weeks ago so turned it off. Only received the new O-ring today so will the GFO left in the reactor still be ok? I'm sure it would be but just making sure.

Hi guys/gals

I was testing my KH and it's at 5 :whistling: which is a bit low... I currently dose brightwells reef code B whick is supposed to bring up the KH as well but maybe it's not enough?
I have read that you can use bicarb soda with RO water... but I have a nano with a chiller and I don't loose much water at all. Can I take out 500ml of water - add a quater teanspoon bicarb and drip that salt water back in - slowley with the ATO unplugged... can I do this or muct I use RO?

This tank is not drilled, and that is the main reason for selling - buyer should have it drilled and corner overflow built - should not be to much work once empty.

Tank size is 1.5 x 600 x 800 , water level on 700 and 100 for lighting in top.

Included in price is :

8 x Reeftek 54w T5's : 2 x blue, 2 x atinic, 2 x 10k and 2 x 12k all with alenoid reflectors..

Wouldn't this be an absolute pleasure to have this sort of lighting on our tanks.

Dog Fish

I recently went over to Fish Only and bought a Dog Fish, pretty interesting fella. My Cow fish was gone after a day, could it be him? He is not aggressive to the other fish at all, but he is the only one big enough to "eat" a cow fish. If he will eat my other fish I would rather take him out.

Please tell me if anyone had similar problems

Hi people i just want to know?If my tank is busy cycleling should i do water changes like normal
