  Interesting specimens from False Bay

  Hi there,
  
  Has anybody ever collected any interesting fish specimens from the False Bay area?
  I have heared stories of juvenile Moorish Idol from Kalk Bay harbor, as well as sightings of Coachman/Banner bflies.
  Anybody collected anything from say Strand or Gordonsbay area that's worth sharing?

  skimmer problem

  So I got water into my sump and tested my skimmer. At first it didn't turn on at all but after I gave it a love tap it started spinning. Problem is, its pumping water straight out the cup. It actually lifted the lid off. I opened the air inlet full and it doesn't seem to help. When I empty it and start again it starts off working then does the same as before. Ill try get a pic up soon. Any idea's? Its a brand new boyu wg-308.

  Hey guys got the skimmer from my 200lt shop tank for sale since that tank is closed down,thought I'd use it for my new tank hence I kept it but New tank is much bigger so this wont work for me with high bio load in a 500lt tank.
  
  This skimmer is rated at around 400lts but I feel it will be nicely suited to a tank around 250 liters.I rate it the equivalent of a ts1 IMO.It is like new and was only used for a few months,also comes with the very reliable atman pump.If you want you can mod it by getting a needle or pinwheel impeller,but its not necessary.
  
  Looking for around R700.

  RO unit proprietary membranes?

  I have just moved into a new house and I'm no longer close to any decent LFS that stock marine so here is my question.
  Many many years ago I bought a really fance RO unit and I need to replace all of the filter components, will any filter unit fit or are they proprietary?
