Hello dear! I am a hobbyist struggled with little money in my pocket, but a lot of curiosity and willingness to learn. I appreciate the opportunity to participate in this forum.

I have always been a huge fan of cube tanks. So I decided it was time for a bit of a change and ordered the glass for my new 600x600x500(H) cube.
Glass was ordered at 10mm thickness and polished all around with an IM C2C overflow.

I decided to use clear silicone as that a black band might detract from the view (open to debate just MPO).
Managed to get the stand done today stand is 1200x600x800(h). My reason for having a stand twice the length of the tank was 2 fold.
Firstly i needed to fit a 45x45 cube tank that i recently purchased in as a RO reservoir (i hate topups) as well as a perfect 50x50 cube sump(thanx reefhead).
Secondly i will be recycling the stand & sumps at a later date when i decide to go 1200x600x600.

Stand might be a bit overkill but better safe safe sorry.

45x45 RO reservoir

50x50 sump (500ml MB7 bottle for size). baffle placement still to be confirmed.

I'll keep updating as / when anything changes.

Help with placement of equipment in sump

Hi guys so im almost ready to start my tank but first of all I bought most of my stuff before I joined Masa and therefore didnt know about how good dsb's works

So I have a 4 compartment sump and will like to have a few opinions from you guys where to place the following :

Skimmer
Heater
Return pump
Seachem matrix biofilter media+ceramic bio glass noodles
Media Filter with n/p pellets in

I was thinking of Seachem matrix in overflow
Skimmer compartment 1
ceramic bio glass noodles 2nd compartment
Heater compartment 3
Media filter with return pump in compartment 4
With live rock in tank

Please if anyone can assist me on the best method any any suggestions please feel free to comment
