Hey all..
Well i have been meanin 2 start a thread on my Tl-450 but never got round 2 it..
Added a few pictures ect..Tank has been running 9months now..Only have pictures from July onwards..Im busy building a new 1.2m Tank and will start the tread on it shortly..

Here is the newest Pic taken 2day..Taken with the phone as i couldn't find my cam..:(

Got a 6 spot goby on Saturday, did a 2 hour drip. temp and salinity was a match and added to my DT.

I could see the guy was stressed out and not happy about all the transport, considering its a new shipment that came in on Friday.

Anyway, he didn't make it :( :( :( but before I could get the body one of my cleaner shrimp ran off with it behind the rock work.

Now, to get to him will be hard, I'll need to remove ALLOT of rock and corals to get to the body, stressing all the fish in the process.

My system is 600L and I skim wet. Can I get away with a few water changes or will I be rescaping my tank tonight?

Ive got this seaweed thing growing on rock.Is it good or bad got some on other rocks but smaller
Little chromis meets his end with a powerhead

One of my new little chromis got sucked up next to a powerhead. I freed him, but he had a big hickey on his side and shortly there after passed. I turned that powerhead off. He was perfectly fine 30 minutes ago. I think the are just too small and got too close. :(

How can I protect the smaller fish from these?
Urgent help needed yellow tang giving powder brown a rubbing

Hi guys I have a yellow tang that goes well with my other sailfin tang but today I bought a powder brown tang and the yellow tang is chasing the powder brown thru the whole tank and is bumping against him the whole time,is there anything I can do to stop this?

Or ate they just a bad match?

i want to ask you guys know about the pipe that the skimmers waste runs though into a cup or something... i want to ask if i can put cleaning srimp, crabs to filter out that waste so i can reuse the water

iam new to this bt does anyone have plans/designs i can use.... i want my skimmes to cosume the minimum watts use the least amount of maintanace and able to run a 800l tank..

must be able to fit into a sump
not feed by pumps

Changing from DSB

I have decided to remove my DSB and move to either NeoZeo, Neovit or NP Pellets.

My system isn't that big, around 200L's with the display being 140L. I'm in the process of moving house and had to move my sump, needless to say with the DSB this is a bit of a pain. I am also very limited with space in my sump and think my DSB is probably not big enough to give maximum benifit.

Which of the above methods would be best to replace my DSB and ATS?
