iv got a reef octopus kr-140 kalkwasser for sale. i bought it before i new what is was used for and before i even had my tank running. iv got no space for it in my sump area.

The following is what I have. I did not number the individual frags as that will take ages, so come and pick the ones you want. Will throw in some free green ones with purchases.

I love this part of reef aquarium keeping, when all the critters start coming out of the live rock. It always amazes me when I'll have a piece of rock I think is just about dead, with no signs of life, and then gradually over time, one by one, the little guys start coming out. It's just fantastic! :thumbup:

HI, Im looking for 250w magnetic ballast that will work for double ended bulbs.I have tried Vosloo Schwabe ballast with igniter but never fire the bulb properly. At the moment Im using Coralvue electronic ballast but not happy with the output.

The fish in my 1.5mx65cmx65cm tank are starting to reach adult size and are thereefore putting quite a burden on the biological filtration, with phosphate level shooting up to 0.25ppm. I've decided to plumb a Jo-Jo Slimline 750l tank into the system, to increase the water volume. It should roughly double it.

My question is, should I add sand into the bottom to increase DSB area or should I keep it bare for easy maintenance? Also, is this enough of an addition to make a difference?

Any other advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
