Adding stability

Can I add stability to the tank juts to help build a stronger bacterial count.Dont know if the count low or ok.Read in another thread that I must add it to help with cyano.

I know this has been discussed often, but having QT'ed the fish and they were fat, munching and no WS, now in their new tank with new tank mates there is obvious a little territory setting.

Now what I noticed is the new fish started getting some WS. I know WS comes from stress and yes by trying to find some new territory they going to get bullied.

I really don't want to QT them again and stress them.

I know we can't get our tanks WS perfect so some comments.

Does water get old

I made some salt water last week Saturday. Its been in a 25l drum which is closed. Does water get old, can I get the temp up, air stone it for a few hours and reuse it?

Hi all

It seems my Cleaner wrasse has become amused with irritating my clam! I am a cross-road.

A Catch my cleaner (Which is impossible and he is great at looking after my other fish) or sell the clam. So here goes

He is in very good nick (Just a bit irritated) and has grown since I bought him

Anyone keen ?

why are these zoas pulling faces?

some of my zoas are contracting with the outside ridge closing down instead of inwards. does anyone know why? . this is not a trick question .

Hi everyone,

Marine newbie here looking to move away from fresh water tanks and lose my hard earned money keeping a small box of a few marine fish alive. :thumbup:

Keeping the tank happy will probably be the easy part. Keeping the wife happy may prove a little bit more intricate. :whistling:
