  Corals getting chowed

  I recently got a coachman and it seems he has taken a taste for my brown polyps.
  
  As you can see form photos my anenome has recently moved onto the rock and just want to check if it couldnt be from him
  
  If it is the coachman and i remove the polyp rock is it likely he will go for my soft mushrooms, pics are only other corals in setup and rest is liverock.

  Help identify this fish

  This little guy was caught off dangers beach cape town
  
  I cannot identify him with the 2 oceans fish of southern africa book
  
  Sorry for bad quality photo but he is really to active and every time camera tries to focus he swims like a maniac
  
  
  
  His tail has black and white barring and also on his dorsal fin
  he is about the size of my 6line wrasse (which is not fully grown) +- 3cm long

  Protein skimmer

  His guys my sump level has now been raised quite substantially and the skimmer refuses to create any skimmate. How essential is this piece of equipment, as now i have turned it off (makes a lot of noise). Got ample live rock and just 5 small fish. Total volume about 300 litres.

  I conditioned a sailfin molly to marine. He has been in the tank for 3 months now. Over the past few days his colour has changed from orange to almost lucid. I think i can see some organs lol. Is this natural as mollies mature / go into saltier water. Is he gonna survive or should i condition him back to the freshside?

  Hi everyone!
  
  I have been having a problem with my hood deteriorating and as such when i switch my lights on a mini fire begins where the wires meet. My tank is a 1metre and the lights which fit it are t8-30watt. I have a selection of 6 bulbs, all of them are 30watt
  
  I am looking for a ballast which will fit on top of my tank and house preferabbly 6 bulbs but will also be interested in one which can house 3 bulbs.

  Hi everyone!
  
  I have that invasive brown anenome..the name of which I have forgotten :)
  From what I have read, they can be controlled biologically with peppermint shrimps.
  
  Sooo... I am looking to get hold of 1 peppermint shrimp. I am from Cape Town and will come collect and pay etc. Over the past few weeks the anenome has been spreading quite a bit so sooner the better.

  Some advice

  Hello :thumbup::thumbup:
  I am new to the marine side of fish keeping.. my setup is only month or 2 old.
  
  My main concern is brown algae, how do i reduce the amount of it in the tank or will it cycle out eventually?
  And secondly, my skimmer is not consistent with producing a skimmate and works wonders for week then nothing for another week
  
  Tank is 200 liters with live stock of 1 clown, 1 damsel, 1 klipvis, 1 molly. 7kg liverock with a hermit crab and snails galore.
