Skimmer issues ... 911 call

Hi guys ... this week i had a terrible week with my skimmer, lol ...

I have a Orca 135 Internal Skimmer

It started to have issues while taking in water ... like a clack sound ... got it sorted.

Now went home, it stop making bubbles and it intake isnt very strong ...

mmm, what can i do, replace it ?

this is a 911 call .... HELP ..

RO unit usage question...

HI there, i want to find something out ...

I am using a RO unit to make RO water .. DUH ...

my question is, my water usage multiplied by 8 about.

In the last year, i used 7000L per month ... this month, i am at 50 000, and this month i used it alot.

I am sure i dont have a water leak somewhere ... I am not showering less or more lol ...

All i am trying to say, i think it is currently cheaper to buy RO than to make it !

Crab problem ...

Morning guys ...

A few weeks back i discovered a little crab in my tank ... and wow, it is like a damsel, but only more @#$@#$@#$ ... it is destorying my tank, meaning eating up what it can. He took out recently 2 clams ...

What can i do ? I know catch it right ... but wow, he is so fast, and he love live rock to hide in

250W MH (Reflector, Ballast and 20000K BLV Globe).

Question, i dont mind paying for the power it use, but will switching to T5's consume less power ?

have a funny story to tell.

I have a boxer shrimp, and after feeding the guys in the tank (the fish), they line up to be cleaned by the shrmip.

Actually, it is so cute ...

Think i must add another one soon ... the poor dude is cleaning 90% of his day just fish ! lol

hi there, i lost yesterday an expensive fish ... and he jumped.

Well, i am now looking into putting asap something up at night or when i am away.

I saw alot of pet shops use a white mesh of some type ...

where can i buy some of that (builders maybe) ?

Hi guys, what nice fish can i add to my cube ?

I already have:
2 clowns
1 regal
1 fox face
5 Chromis
1 fire fish
2 purple (fire fish), dont know the name, but they are purple.
blue cheek blenny
scopas tang

I was thinking of a flame angel, but i am scared my corals might be nibbed. I am into softies.

Next is a yellow and purple tang ... and also 5 goldies

what else is the question ?

I have a 650L cube, and think i can have about 30 small fish, or 15 biggish fish ... but what is the question.

I want to add 1 fish per month from now on ...:blush:

hi there, about 1 year back i bought a clam, with a toby and 2 clowns in.

well, 2 hours later, the clam was gone.

was it the clowns or the toby ?

reason for asking, i want another clam, but this time doing my questions and getting info first.
