Hi guys

I saw the most awesome thing this morning.

around about 8am this morning the sun shines through my window and directly onto my little nano in my room.

my clams decide that they want the sunlight so the close and opened up again and in doing so they managed to turn around directly in to the light

Mixing salt

hey guys

quick question... when mixing salt does the salt in the mixing tank need to be the same salinity as the salt in your DT.

the reason Im asking is that Ive had my Alkaline and calcium raise enormously and i ve not been using any additives besides phosphate remover and microbacter7.

the only thing Ive been doing is my 10% water changes which is 75L so i dont know if Im using too much salt or what

sump division

i have to put three chamber in sump with the following measurements
(L) 900mm x (W) 400mm x (H) 400mm
what would the best dimensions be for each chamber. i would like the center to be the largest for the DBS

Hey Guys

just want to findout how reef safe is regal tangs.
i have one and found him and my blue throat kill some of my fish in the tank like my fire gobies and antheas.
i removed the blue throat thinking he was the main one but found two new bodies that the regal was eating on

im a bit worried about my Clam first it didnt want to open properly and now it doesnt want to close. the mantle stay in the shell it touched it to see if it for still alright and it only retracked the mantle a little bit.
