  Is a yellow damsel fish good for my tank or are they very agressive.Anyone got some advice here,I want to get one tomorrow?:)

  Could someone tell me how to tell the difference between the Peppermint shrimp(Lysmata rathbunae) and the TRUE Peppermint shrimp(Lysmata wurdemanni).I have tried to google pics,but it is very difficult to tell the difference.Is there a way of being sure that you are definitely buying a true peppermint shrimp?

  Hey guys.I happened across this thread by mistake really.Has anyone got experience of these.Is it a good idea or not?Sounds goo.Im think NSW and Natural lighting.....what more could you want?:)

  Transparent fish found

  Howdie.I found what looks like a juvenile convict surgeon,but he is completely transparent.He's in good condition,was difficult to catch looks quite happy but is totally see through.Any ideas why,is this another type of surgeon or does he have a problem?

  Does anyone know what a gladelia coral is?IMy mom bought one the other day and said that the LFS called it a gladelia coral.It sort of looks like a Kenya tree without the trunk.:huh:

  My banana wrasse is shoaling with my chromis.Im not joking.They all swim around together.If I was able to upload a clip I would.Is this something that happens time to time?

  Guys.I have been hatching brine shrimp.They've all hatched and I've bombed a whole lot of them into my tank,of course the chromis dont waste any time clearing them up along with the banana wrasse.However many of them sink to the bottom and land on the rocks.Now my question is:What happens to those that dont get eating?Is it in their nature to keep floating around or do they cling to the rocks and substrate and attempt to survive?

  Urgent Advice - White mark on Mandarin

  HI guys.When I got my mandarin last week I noticed a small white patch on his side.At first it really just looked like some debris stuck in the slime from traveling,but I have noticed that all other marks have gone except this one.Could anyone advise me on what it is and how I can treat it

  Today's Temperature

  Hi Guys.Just to let you know,i have just come inside from checking the temperature(in the shade) outside on a dry bulb.......39 degrees!!!!!!!...and I dont have a chiller!The good news is,I have got a normal counter top fan that i bought from Game for R199.00 after my PC fan packed up and my tank has had a max temp of 28.5 degrees the whole week....not bad hey...who needs a chiller

  Guys can I ask a question Would it be good to do a 100% water change every month if I had an indefinite supply of good quality,filtered NSW.Or would it be better to do less,say 80% 0r 50% every two weeks. What is the ideal WC quantity and frequency

  Hey guys.I've been hearing this whole year that there is the threat of loadshedding still looming.With November December on its way and the increase of power consumption starting to climb,it might be a good time to test all your loadshedding/power outage backup equipment.....just a thought

  Error on page

  Hi guys.If this is the wrong place to ask then sorry.I keep getting an "error on page" message at the bottom of the page whenever it loads.Now the live doesnt work either.Any ideas..it only does it with MASAall other web pages are fine.HELP!!!!
