  Ok so I have a Bryopsis problem and I am trying to get my Magnesium up at 1600ppm, my question is this, I am using Brightwell Magnesion-P, is it normal for the solution to get very hot when mixed with RO water?

  I have an external skimmer that has given me grief from day 1 and is now leaking and was wondering if anyone has a spare internal that I can borrow till my new one arrives

  Sump cracked

  So I get home tonight to find my floor soaked, looked everywhere for the leak and then saw it, my sump had cracked from where the skimmer pipe goes into the first chamber to the bottom. Obviously I need to be more careful in future when I put the skimmer cup back on.:(
  
  But never fear Adriaan from IM will be here to fix in the morning, now thats what I call service. Hopefully my Vortecks will keep everything going till tomorrow night when I can fill up again.

  Just want to say that the service one gets from Nathan is nothing short of spectacular, always friendly and willing to help. My skimmer pump packed up and was replaced no questions asked, the o-ring of the skimmer cup torn by me was also replaced. While I am waiting for my new Vertex Illumina he has been kind enough to lend me a unit in the interim. Give him a try you wont regret it.:thumbup:

  Can anyone help, I have two profilux optical sensors connected to the profilux with a splitter on Level1&2 and under the profilux control level 1 is set to ATO with 2 sensors. The PAB bar is set to water 1 but it doesnt switch on the pump when the water level is low. What am I doing wrong?

  Hanna vs Profilux

  I have calibrated my profilux conductivity probe and it gives me a reading of 1.026, my Hanna refractometer
  
  
  
  was calibrated with distelled water and it gives me a reading of 1.022.
  
  My dilemma which one do I believe?:(

  Profilux Problems

  I am now getting pissed with this Profilux 3ex as every time I try to upgrade the firmware via the USB cable it crashes. Now once again I have to disconnect all the probes and wires in the back and take it in to be fixed. These may be great aquarium computers but at the price one would think that they would sort this type of shit out.:angry:
