  Well, Giepie has turned it into a real Gem. Removed front scratched glass, re-did the complete Cabinet- I still want to see better craftsmanship- it looks as if it is made out of metal- polished, shiny etc- but it is definitely wood.

  Something I do not lekker understand.
  
  Yes, I did test during midday, yes the lights is on a reverse cycle, no, there are no dead or missing fish, and yes, the critters are still roaming around the sandbeds. :biggrin:
  
  
  And yes, the test kits are not bad, nor is it outdated etc. Also borrowed someone elses test kit and it shows more or less the same. :biggrin:

  Nitrates=4
  Nitrites= 2.5
  Ammonia= 0
  Ph=8.6
  Alk= 10
  
  I HAVE A LOT OF ALGAE DIE-OFF... surely this does not effect nitrites
  
  How can I have nitrites when all else is fine???
  Is it not supposed to be zero,as nitrites normally goes hand in hand with your ammonia levels?????????
  
  All else in the tank is fine, even the "pissy" corals (sps) does extremely well

  Guys, Who lives in the Hillcrest area????
  
  Preferably close to Alexander Drive, Wiston Park????
  
  Reason: I need someone to pick up a Camera lens for me and transport/ship it to me (Mekaeel is coming to Richards Bay this weekend;) ).
  
  Thing is, I need to pay the money into whoever wants to go pick up the lens and this whoever need to pay the guy.

  Great idea to cool your tank if you do not have a Chiller- for those hot months.
  
  Suppose with 02 packets of ice,this would also last longer than putting frozen bottles in your sump;)

  I am looking for a complete setup, tank, stand, sump, skimmer, pumps etc etc etc.
  
  Tank must be about a 4 footer, not more, but can be smaller.
  
  And please do not come with ludicrous prices.:)
  
  Must be in the DURBAN area.
  
  If it is a matured tank with livestock in, sooooo much better.
  
  It is for a friend of mine, he stays in Richmond and would like to start with marines.

  Be careful adding this to an existing tank. Make sure that the rock is fully cured, otherwise it can kill off your tank!!!!
