Here's mine, albeit an old pic from a couple of years ago...This was on the end of my sump where the Jebo skimmer was. :p

Hey all, so lets arrange a dinner or something for the Saturday night where we can all meet up and socialise and have a good old chinwag amongst friends. :)

Any recommendations or idea's?

These are the places that have been recommended that are at Emperors Palace, shall we go for one of these or anybody got any other suggestions?

Expo 2012 International Guest

We have received confirmation that our International guest for the Aquarium Expo 2012 will be world famous reef aquarium owner David Saxby, who is also director of D-D the Aquarium Solution. :thumbup:

His world famous tank can be found all over the internet, including youtube and various other reefkeeping websites. If I recall correctly I think his tank holds something like 400 fish.:eek:

He will be giving a couple of talks on the Saturday and Sunday, about 45 minutes long, thereafter he will be at the Triple Five stand where you can get to meet him in person.

I read on one of the articles about him that he was initially very sceptical about LED lighting being feasible on a marine tank, however he is now rebuilding his tank and is going to use LED lighting. This I think will be an extremely interesting talk to listen to from someone that has now adopted this new technology for an extreme system such as his own.

Expo Speakers

We're moving into the final stages of preparation for the Expo :thumbup:

Up next on our to-do list is to arrange some speakers to give a few lectures/presentations at the Expo and we're looking for some input from you all please.

What sort of talks would you guys be really keen on hearing?

Anybody in particular you would like us to contact to give a talk?

Aquarium Expo 2012 is only 2 and a bit months away :thumbup:

For those out of towners that are coming up to visit, links to accomodation can be found on this page - Aquarium Expo We will update it if we get any other options.

If anybody in the surrounding area of the Expo has any accommodation available or any spare rooms for a reefer or two or owns any bed & breakfasts etc. please post here so we can accommodate as many of our buddies as we can, thanks.:)
